Colomb Beach In Goa
Colomb Beach is also known as Colomb Bay, it is a picture-perfect little fishing village, which is situated at the north end of Patnem beach, in south Goa around a small lagoon. For most of the year, close and sleepy community of fishermen things change come November each year when locals move out of their houses and rent them to families of foreigners, beach huts and restaurants get rebuilt and the tourist season begins.

Best Time to visit Colomb Beach
The most favorable time to visit Colomb Beach is winter. Summers are too scorching as the mercury soars up to 40 degrees Celsius. In monsoons, heavy rains are observed. The beach can get precarious due to high waves and water sports are not safe. October to March is the best time to visit Colomb Beach. The temperature lingers between 20 to 30 degrees Celsius. Winters are mild with balmy weather. If you want some peace in this serene place, then the early morning is most suitable when the beach is almost empty. However, if you want to witness the actual life in Goa, late night is the best time when local people throng the pubs or bars and have whale of a time.

The accommodation here is represented mainly by hats-houses which you can find plenty of on the Beach. Not so many nice comfortable guest-houses can be found here: nearly all of them are placed in some distance from the shore. Few cafes and restaurants are oriented mainly onto Indian cuisine dishes. So if you are a big fan of European cuisine or prefer traditional dishes than you’ve better to go to the nearest city and take a snack in some restaurant there.
