Bhairi caves are located on Kamshet's high rocks. People claim that animal sacrifices are still performed here. They have many cooking utensils, and according to local beliefs, if anyone tries to steal them, they are punished by their God and thrown in the nearby valley as an earthly punishment. The caves can be reached by trekking, but the path is rough, challenging, and tricky at times, bordering on dangerous.
These caves are among the oldest in Maharashtra. They date from 60 BC. Though they are somewhat remote from Kamshet, they are easily accessible. These caves are situated on a sloppy hill. They have four twenty-five-foot-tall pillars. Bedsa Caves are also well-known for their exquisite carvings. They are Buddhist caves, and the main cave is a 'Chaitya' (Buddhist prayer hall) with a massive stupa in between.
