Sri Vetrimalai Murugan Temple near the island of Andaman and Nicobar. But by the time Lord Shiva married Goddess Parvati, goddess Parvati knew that she couldn't conceive becaucouldn'tas cursed by the god of fire. So Lord Shiva took Goddess Parvati to a hidden cave in the jungle and asked her to meditate. While meditating, the ball of fire emerged out of their cosmic energy.

And the other gods were insecure about Tarakasur, so they sent lord Agni, the God of fire, to hold the fireball. Still, even Lord Agni couldn't bear the heat and couldn'ttrong the energy of Lord Shiva and Goddess Paravati. Then the ball was passed to other goddesses like Ganga and the lake of the forest of reeds. But no one can bear the ball of fire in their hand only Goddess Parvati has that cosmic energy to run the ball of fire and the power of shiv shakti.

And after a while, the ball fell into the shape of six babyfaces. And hence after that, the Lord Murugan or Kartikeya is also known as Shanmukha. Later after some years, Kartikeya killed Tarkasur, And after that, he was known as the commander-in-chief of the god. Lord Kartikeya is described as the beauty with the brain as the son of Shiva and Parvati.

He is depicted as the young dark man with a spear in his hand, his mount is a Peacock and lord Kartikeya, and Murunga are symbolized as power and strength.
