Kalinjar Fort is a historic fort in the Banda district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The defence is situated on a hilltop and is known for its strategic location. It sits at the meeting point of the Bundelkhand region, the Bagelkhand region and the Vindhya Range. The Fort has been the site of several battles and has a rich history dating back to the 8th century.
The Fort features several temples, palaces, and other structures, including the Kala-Burj, a tower that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area. The defence also has a museum that showcases the history of the Fort and the region.
