Koulas Fort

Koulas Fort is a historical site located in the Jagtial district of Telangana. It was built during the 14th century by the Kakatiya dynasty, who ruled the region then. The fort was originally built as a strategic defence mechanism to protect the Kakatiya kingdom from external invasions.

The fort is atop a hill surrounded by a moat built to protect the defence from enemies. The reason has several structures, including the palace, the durbar hall, and a granary.
