Ram Mandir In Maharashtra
Ram Mandir is a railway station on the Mumbai Suburban Railway's Western and Harbour lines, serving the Oshiwara neighbourhood. The station is between Jogeshwari and Goregaon railway stations and is named after the nearby century-old Lord Ram temple. On December 22, 2016, the station opened to commuters. The temple Iyer, an architect and Goregaon resident, refers to is named after the recently opened suburban station in Oshiwara.

History:
After seemingly interminable stages of construction since 2008, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu inaugurated the Ram Mandir Road station, the 37th station on the Western Line, on December 22, 2016. Its first train, from Churchgate to Borivali, arrived at 6 p.m., while another bound for Churchgate arrived at 6.10 p.m.
This station was built because the distance between Jogeshwari and Goregaon stations was too great. The station has four platforms, two for slow trains on the Western line and two for the Harbour line section. On March 29, 2018, the Harbour Line was extended to Goregaon.
