Pratapgad
Pratapgadh is a historic fort in the Satara district of Maharashtra, India. It is situated at an elevation of 1,080 meters above sea level and is approximately 23 kilometres from Mahabaleshwar. The Maratha king Shivaji Maharaj built the fort in the 17th century to defend against the Mughal army.
