To reach Gorakhgad, one can take a bus or private vehicle from Mumbai to Murbad. From Murbad, there are two ways to get to the base village of Dehri. The first way is to take a right turn after crossing the Murbad-Kalyan road and drive straight till you reach Dehri village.
This route is through the forest and takes close to 2 hours. The second way is to take a left turn after crossing the Murbad-Kalyan road and drive till you reach the paved village road. This route is longer but is faster as it bypasses the forest. From Dehri, it is a short hike of around 1 hour to Gorakhgad Fort.
