Aurangabad, which became declared by the Government because the Tourism Capital of Maharashtra lower back in 2010, is a well-known tourist hub which greets its visitors with a richly woven tapestry of sights and sounds. The city was given its call for being the erstwhile capital of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb inside the seventeenth century AD. The town is used because the base to discover the extremely famous caves of Ajanta and Ellora, Daulatabad Fort which is famed for its sturdy defence systems, Mausoleums of Aurangzeb and Bibi-Ka-Maqbara well-known for its structure and Grishneshwar Temple, one among the best 12 Shiva Jyotirlingas in India.

Declared a World Heritage Site by way of UNESCO, the Ajanta Caves is domestic to 29 extraordinary caves, all of which show off Buddhist paintings belonging to the period ranging from 2 hundred B.C to 650 A.D. All paintings and sculptures inside the caves were built painstakingly via Buddhist clergymen using only easy equipment which includes chisels and hammers. These artwork and sculptures paint a varied variety of stories, beginning from the Jataka Tales to intriguing bills of historical nymphs and princesses. The Ellora Caves, a touch distance away from the Ajanta Caves, houses a total of 34 caves and has sculptures and artwork depicting not one, but 3 specific religions – Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The sheer variety of the sculptures, the architectural expertise, and the centuries of hard work undertaken through artisans are sufficient to leave you speechless.

Designed by means of the Persian architect Ustad-Ata-Ullah, Bibi ka Maqbara has a structure similar to that of the Taj Mahal, with the principle structure bordered by means of four towering minarets on 4 sides. The whole construction is a sight to behold, and sunrises and sunsets are resplendent, with the rays of the solar superbly casting the reflection of the mausoleum at the water of the canal in the front of the building. Aurangabad is also domestic to temples inclusive of the Jyotirlinga Grishneshwar temple and the Bhadra Maruti Temple, both of which have legends and myths on their own.

Siddharth Garden is a place that each one nature lovers could be mesmerized by using. A landscaped lawn housing a wide variety of sculpted timber and shrubs, the Siddharth Garden is also domestic to wild creatures which include lions, tigers, leopards, deer, and hyena. Sitting back on the green lawns of the garden and playing a stunning picnic is a completely popular traveler pastime here. Known for its arts and crafts, and especially its silk, Aurangabad has lots of markets from where you can buy various neighborhood handicrafts, individual gems, shawls, and of course, the region’s well-known paithani silk sarees.
