Mattancherry Palace
The Mattancherry Palace, or Dutch Palace, is in Mattancherry, Kochi, Kerala, India. The Portuguese built it in the 16th century, and later renovated by the Dutch in the 17th century. It is one of the finest examples of Kerala's traditional architecture and has been declared a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India.
The palace is situated on the northern side of Mattancherry town and is about 48,000 square feet. It has two stories, with several rooms, courtyards and halls.
