Morjim Beach is definitely one of the best beaches in Goa. Its a poet’s paradise which sky changing colors and sun setting in. Morjim Beach is one of the most tranquil and popular beaches of North Goa and is situated 12 km away from Morjim through the Duler-Marna-Siolim Road. The ones that exist are further away from the sea and do not play overtly loud music. The protected nature of Morjim Beach is one of the primary factors responsible for its untouched beauty. The beach is famous for being the nesting place of the Olive Ridley turtles, which are an endangered species and are they are protected under the Indian law through their inclusion of the Wildlife Protection Act in Schedule I of 1972. It is indeed a memorable sight to watch these little turtles enjoying themselves and to click pictures with them. How to Reach Morjim Beach
By air, one can first reach Panjim Airport. To reach by train, you need to reach the Vasco DA Gama railway first. From Thivim to Morjim it is just 2 km which can be covered by a pre-paid taxi or a local bus. From Madagaon trains start early; usually at 6 a.m.
