Best Time To Visit Agonda Beach

The best time to visit this beautiful Agonda Beach is during the month of September, as it serves as a nesting ground for olive ridley sea turtles. The temperature of Agonda Beach is quite warm throughout the year. The nights here are a bit chilly from the month of December until February. There is quite good rainfall from June to August, the best time for tourists to visit Agonda Beach is from late October until March-end.

Marago is located 30 minutes away from Agonda beach and it costs around 800 rupees in a taxi. Alternatively, Goa’s Dabolim airport is located around one and a half hours away from Agonda Beach. History of Agonda Beach

Agonda is a large village situated in Canacona in South Goa district, India, it is famous for its beach. Among the only four beaches that are designated as turtle nesting sites under the Coastal Regulation Zone 2011 notification, Agonda Beach is one of them.
