Kolahoi Glacier trek in Kashmir is the trek you do through glacier valleys alongside the river banks of Lidder, which, along with river Jhelum, emerges eternally from the Kolahoi ranges. Best season for trekking in Jammu and Kashmir

Trekking in Kashmir is Usually done from April to October, as the glaciers melting away creates the pathway for trekkers to reach their destinations.

Apart from that, Kashmir is moderately bypassed by Monsoons due to geographical conditions, which is why rain in this part is less, making Kashmir an ideal location to be visited from June to September. 

Tarsar Marsar trek, Gadsar lake trek, Kishnasar & Vishansar lake trek, Kashmir great lakes trek in June to September are granted perfect weather conditions and incredible views during the whole journey.

 From October to March, very limited treks are done during the winter, like the Tarsar Marsar trek, the Naranag Mahlish trek, and the Naranag Gangabal trek. However, it depends on weather conditions.
